caring for the CircuitRider

I read an article from (bible.org) about a circuit riding preacher who was emaciated and sickly because he had very little to eat, but his horse was well feed and well cared for.  When the preacher was asked why he was in such poor condition while his horse was well fed, he replied, "I care for my horse.  You care for me.  What an indictment against the church!

Brothers and sisters, we need to take care of men who travel the roads and oversee our ministry.

The next time you fill your bike for $18.00 or your car for $50.00, just think.  It costs them the same amount.  The next time Pop visits your chapter, at least feed him and Lucy and fill their tank with gas.  Meantime, send them a love offering.  We must care for them!

Circuit Rider Conduct

    2 Cor 6:14-7:1

14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

I have no authority to pull anyone's Colors in Circuitriders, but if you can't live up to your colors, you should pull them off and turn them in!  If you are presenting yourself as a Circuitrider, and you are not living up to the bylaws, you should have enough self respect to turn them in.  I'm not setting myself as a judge of anyone, but there is a Judge who will judge us all.  Every full patched member of Circuitriders is supposed to be a minister of The Gospel.  That means we respect God, His kingdom and His people.  If we wear His Name, we should be filled with His Spirit, and if we are Spirit filled, we won't be disrespecting the leadership, disrespecting the ministry and disrespecting our Savior.  Every Circuitrider should live above reproach and every chapter officer should be a "Man Of God" in every sense of the word!  I have said it before, "Circuitriders is not just about motorcycles and tattoos".  We wouldn't need Colors for that!  We're a ministry!  Too many good men (and women )have worked and sacrificed for this ministry!  We should at least not desecrate the Patch!  That's just how I feel.

LIVEN IT

THERE'S A TIME, AND THERE'S A PLACE
FOR EVERY MAN TO SHOW HIS FACE,
AND LET THE WORLD KNOW WHAT HE BELIEVES.

WHETHER HIS STATUE IS SHORT OR TALL,
HE CAN STAND THROUGH IT ALL.
AND DEAL WITH EVERYTHING HE RECEIVES.

OTHERS MAY FAINT AT HIS SIDE,
HE WILL TAKE IT ALL IN STRIDE,
AS HE ENCOURAGES THEM TO ADVANCE ONCE AGAIN.

ARROWS WILL CERTAINLY FLY,
AND SURELY SOME WILL DIE,
BUT THE WARRIOR WILL FIGHT THROUGH THE PAIN.

OUR SAVIOR IS IN THE LEAD,
SNOW WHITE IS HIS STEAD,
AND HE HAS NEVER FOUGHT IN VAIN.

SO HOLD THE BANNER HIGH,
YOU SHALL NEVER NEVER DIE
BUT RETIRE WHEN THE TRUMPET SOUNDS THE CALL.

WHEN WE LAY OUR WEAPONS DOWN,
AT THAT ANGEL'S TRUMPET SOUND
WE SHALL BE VICTORIOUS ONE AND ALL.
